OpusClip is the first multimodal AI video tool that repurposes long videos into viral-ready shorts with one click. I led the UX design for its 0→1 mobile app, focused on helping users quickly turn raw videos into short, shareable clips. We built two core features: ClipAnything, an AI-powered highlight extractor, and Animated Captions for dynamic, social-ready subtitles. By prioritizing speed and first-use success, we reduced editing time by over 70%, boosted first-session retention, and enabled users to publish their first clip in under a minute.
